Mais uma viagem em grupo da Hello Australia Travel para começar o ano de 2017 com tudo.  Desta vez nosso destino foi a região do Norte do estado de NSW, mais especificamente a praia de Fingal Head, bem próxima da Gold Coast e em torno de 1.5h de Brisbane. Nosso principal parceiro foi a escola de surf Water Lab, representada pelo diretor Marcelo Garcia e seus professores de surf.

Nossa viagem começou no Sábado , dia 14 de Janeiro as 09h da manhã ,todo mundo se encontrou no FINGAL HOLIDAY PARK bem em frente a praia para nosso primeiro café da manhã e briefin incial da viagem , onde explicamos todas as atividades que iriam acontecer.

Nossa primeira atividade foi a aula de surf , a água estava um pouco escura por conta da quantidade de algas que apareceram por conta das correntes e do vento, trazendo elas para perto da areia. A galera não se importou com as algas e caiu direto na água , após a parte teórica feita na areia. Todo mundo ficando de pé e curtindo a vibe do surf por mais ou menos 2h na água.

Na sequência , logo após o surf , levamos o pessoal para o Tweed River, uma área super bacana para montarmos nossa churrasqueira para servir o almoço e também para galera fazer o Jet Ski Safari e  o wakeboarding. Nosso almoço foi o famoso AUSSIE BBQ, churrasco Australiano, com salsichas, cebolas, pães e saladas.

Após quase 4 horas de atividades e digestão, seguimos para nosso camping para tomar aquele banho e tirar a água de sal do corpo para nos reunirmos para o jantar no Sheoak Shack Gallery Cafe, o restaurante local que nos recebeu muito bem com direito a pizza, refrigerante e ainda por cima uma banda local fazendo um som para a galera. Chegando no camping fizemos um luau na praia com a presença mais do que especial da LUA CHEIA, isso mesmo, a LUA CHEIA estava lá para nos iluminar e fazer parte do nosso luau com direito a muito surf music & reggae.

Durante a noite caiu aquela famosa tempestade de Queensland , mas todos estavam protegidos em suas barracas

Como todo surfista, acordamos cedo e tomamos um belo café da manhã para nos preparar para mais um dia cheio de atividades. Nas primeiras duas horas fizemos mais aulas de surf e na sequencia organizamos a cerimônia de entrega dos certificados para todos os nossos surfistas e fizemos uma foto oficial após a entrega dos certificados e também do discurso da galera do THE PIRATES BOARDRIDERS, uma galera muito gente fina composta por surfistas que estão sempre em busca das ondas na região, que explicaram pra nossa turma o real espirito  do surf.

Após nosso momento de festas e fotos, seguimos mais uma vez para o TWEED RIVER, para mais um dia de Wakeboarding e Jet Ski e também para nosso último almoço antes de ir embora pra casa, todo mundo de barriga cheia e feliz com um fim de semana de muita aventura.

Novas regras para o visto de estudante – SSVF Visa Process

Como muitos já devem saber, a partir de hoje começam a valer as novas regras para os vistos de estudantes na Australia. O que poucos sabem é como realmente essas mudanças vão implicar no processo de pedido de vistos e na renovação dos vistos de quem já está na Australia.

Procuramos fazer com esse post um resumo dessas mudanças, focando nas condições para RENOVAÇÃO DE VISTO de quem já está na Australia, mas informações mais detalhadas serão passadas no Education Seminar que iremos promover em nosso escritório no dia 21/07/2016.

O nivel de documentação solicitado para o visto dependerá da reputação (nivel de risco) da escola e da nacionalidade do aplicante, seguindo uma nova matrix de risco criada pela imigração. Para escolas e nacionalidades com baixo risco, a imigração solicitará apenas o COE, o seguro de saúde OSHC e a declaração de GTE para o visto poder ser aplicado. Após a aplicação do visto, poderão ser solicitados mais documentos.

GTE – Genuine Temporary Entrant

Este é o critério principal pelo qual será avaliado o visto, o que significa que estudantes terão que provar que são estudantes genuínos e que desejam permanecer na Australia apenas temporariamente. Este critério será avaliado em todas as aplicações de visto, independente do nivel de risco da escola e nacionalidade do estudante.

Para satisfazer esse critério o estudante terá que escrever uma declaração onde deverá informar:

  • histórico profissional (incluindo datas e contatos);
  • motivos pelo qual quer estudar na Australia e não em seu país de origem
  • motivos por ter escolhido o curso e a escola e a relevância desses estudos para sua carreira profissional
  • vínculos familiares (incluindo nome e data de nascimento de pais e irmãos) e/ou financeiros/empregatícios,
  • histórico de estudos dentro e fora da Australia.

 Nova opção de suporte financeiro

A princípio, o suporte financeiro somente deverá ser apresentado caso seja solicitado na lista de documentos da ferramenta online da imigração (normalmente para escolas e países de nivel baixo). Essa ferramenta já está disponível no link: http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/500-

Agora existem duas opções para comprovação do suporte financeiro:

Opção 1 – Poderão ser apresentados extratos bancários no nome do estudante ou patrocinador (preferência para familiares), com o valor de AU$ 1,650 para cada mês de visto (limitada a 12 meses). Além dos AU$ 1,650 por mês, o valor a ser demonstrado também deverá incluir valores de passagens aéreas e o valor do curso que ficar parcelado.

Opção 2 – A segunda opção é apresentar o Imposto de renda do estudante ou dos seus pais, com uma renda anual acima de AU$ 60.000, nessa opção o patrocinador terá que obrigatóriamente ser pai ou mãe do estudante, ou esposa/esposo.

Visto de Turista

Quem está na Australia com visto de turista agora pode aplicar para o visto de estudante sem precisar sair do país.

NEW Visa arrangements – SSVF

As many you may know, from now on the Australian Immigration Department begins to enforce new rules for student visas. What few of you know is how these changes will actually affect the process of visa application and extension of visas for those who are already in Australia.

We are trying to summarize here these changes, focusing on the conditions for VISA RENEWAL. If you need detailed information you should attend to our Education Seminar on 21.07.2016, Brisbane Office.

The level of documentation requested for the visa will depend on the reputation (level of risk) of both school and nationality of the applicant, following a new matrix of risk created by immigration. For schools and nationalities with low risk, immigration only require the COE, health insurance (OSHC) and GTE statement. After the visa application the Immigration may request further information.

GTE – Genuine Temporary Entrant

This is the main criterion by which the visa will be evaluated, which means that students will have to prove they are genuine students and who wish to stay in Australia temporarily. This criterion will be assessed on all visa applications, regardless of the school’s risk level and nationality of the student.

To meet this criterion, the student must write a statement in which should inform:

• employment history (including dates and contacts);

• reasons for studying in Australia and not in your country of origin

• reasons for choosing the course and the school and the relevance of these studies for your professional career

• Financial, employing and Family ties (including name and date of birth of parents and siblings)

• studies history in and out of Australia.

New financial support option

At first, financial support should be submitted if requested in the online tool documents list of immigration (usually for schools and low level of countries). This tool is available on the link: http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/500-

Now there are two options for confirmation of financial support:

Option 1 – bank statements may be displayed on the student or sponsor’s name (preference for family members), with AU $ 1.650 value for each visa month (limited to 12 months). In addition to the AU $ 1.650 per month, the value to be shown should also include values ​​of airline tickets and the cost of the course to be parcelled.

Option 2 – The second option is to present the income tax of the student or his parents, with an annual income of over AU $ 60,000 this option the sponsor will have to be obligatorily parent or student’s mother, or wife / husband.

Tourist visa

Who is in Australia on a tourist visa can now apply for a student visa without leaving the country.

Itinerary

08/07 Day 1 – Friday The coach will collect you from your previously selected pick up point and start the ride down to The Snowy Mountains. During your journey you will be able to purchase any hire gear or lift passes from the tour guide to collect upon your arrival. There will be a scheduled stop for dinner on the highway at your own expense. ETA at The Snowy Valley Resort is 12am (midnight). Upon arrival you will be able to check into your room, and collect any hire gear that you may have previously purchased on the coach.

09/07 Day 2 – Saturday Breakfast is served from 6:30am; we suggest you get in early to make the most of the slopes, as the bus leaves 8am sharp! We make a stop at The Perisher Ski Tube, and then continue up to Thredbo to make it to the mountain by 9am. You have a whole day free to ski. We invite you for drinks, food, and entertainment at The River Inn at your own expense. The bus back to The Snowy Valley Resort will leave Thredbo around 5pm passing through the Ski Tube to pick up any passengers who spent the day at Perisher. Complementary dinner will be served between 6 – 8pm at The Snowy Valley, followed by evening entertainment.

 

10/07 Day 3 – Sunday Breakfast is again served from 6:30am. You will need to check out of your rooms after breakfast; however a luggage storage room will be available for your use throughout the day. The bus will depart Snowy Valley at 8am and make its way to Perisher Ski Tube/Thredbo. Your lift pass also covers you for Sunday, until 4pm when the transfer bus departs Thredbo and returns to The Snowy Valley Resort where you can return any hire gear you may have taken. We will then depart resort stopping for dinner at your own expense. ETA at Central Sydney 11pm

 The Destination 

Thredbo Thredbo Village, set within the 690,000 hectares of the Kosciuszko National Park, is one of Australia’s highest alpine towns. It is perched among some of Australia’s highest mountains between 1365 to 1930 metres above sea level.

Nossa primeira Feijoada de 2016 foi realizada no dia 24 de Janeiro no Down Under Bar em Brisbane. Em mais um domingo de sol tivemos o prestigio de mais ou menos 650 pessoas durante o dia todo, além de muito feijão com arroz para a galera matar a saudade de casa.

Nossa “Feijuca” teve como principais atrações o DJ Vitor Lima, tocando o melhor da música Brasileira.Logo em seguida, a Banda Samba4U mandou um samba/pagode de primeira qualidade.

Para completar, a Banda Inkaza tocou o melhor do reggae nacional e internacional.

Responsible for:

1. Washing and sorting of plates, cups, cutlery andcooking equipment

2. Storage and sorting of food

3. Preparation of food

4. Safety and cleanliness of all kitchen and storageareas

5. Disposal of rubbish and waste

Main activities:

1. Clean all dishes, cutlery, pots, pans andequipment

2. Prepare food for cooking as directed by the chefin charge

3. Keep all work areas,coolroom and storeroom andrear areas clean, swept, hosed and tidy

4. Control the use of chemicals in the kitchen

5. Receive and sort supplies and deliveries

6. Follow proper hygienic food handling practices

7. Organise the disposal of rubbish

8. Organise the sorting of recycling materials

9. Work safely and support others to work safely

10. Maintain the kitchen equipment and plant ingood condition

11. Support good communication within the kitchenand with the floor staff

12. Carry out any other duties as advised from timeto time
